Due to the level of elevation the region obtains a remarkable diversity of flora; from sub-tropical lowland forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendron in the south to the high alpine meadows and windswept desert plateaus in the north, nearly to Tibet. Animals found in this region are monkeys, deer, pika, blue sheep and Himalayan Tahr.

The most popular trekking routes of Annapurna trekking region are, Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna ghorepani, Jomsom, Upper mustang, Nar Phu valley, Dhaulagiri, Upper Mustang and short country side trek around Pokhara. Spring and autumn season are the most favorable time to visit for Annapurna trekking.. This time the weather neither hot nor cold, the climate is favourable.
