Well I have made it to pokhara after a great 18 days trek on the annapurana circuit via ghorapani,my knees hurt and I have blisters bigger than the district of manang but it was definitely worth it. Binod told us many stories about his village, culture religions and life style in Nepal.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve was established in 1976. Its covers 1756 sq. km. in this area. This reserve located in the flood plains of the Sapta-Koshi in the mid-east Nepal, and is a favorite spot for bird enthusiasts. This wildlife reserve's vegetation includes patches of Sisoo forest and spreads of tall grass. The last surviving herd of wild buffaloes in Nepal is found here. Other species include wild boar, hog beer, spotted deer and blue bull called nilgai. A total of 280 species of birds, including ducks, ibises, egrets, herons and floricans, are recorded here. This area is extremely important for migratory birds. Other animal species include the crocodile, gharial and the Gangetic dolphins. Commercial fishing is also an important activity here. The activities are similar to the other national park.
